ICE Awareness Campaign. Advocacy: Protests, deliberate action, speaking out, and or hosting awareness events can expose the issue at hand. Galvanization: Contacting law enforcement, running campaigns, & allocating protesters. Collective action can gain exposure and thus make a difference. Reconstruct: Lay out the terms and conditions, once recognized delegate areas for reconstruction. Primarily systemic inequality, profiling, & disproportional treatment should be areas of concern.
ICE Detention Crisis 2026 Trends. 73,000: roughly the amount of people ICE currently has in custody. This is an alarming amount that’s wreaking havoc on families. Quote: “In Massachusetts and across the country, we continue to see unlawful and unconstitutional actions by ICE that are meant to intimidate and instill fear in our communities…” — Governor Healey. Our country has been plagued with the adversities stemming from ICE. There’s no need to evoke such suffering. Together let’s advocate for equalization and liberty. 84%: increase from early 2025 when those in custody was below 40,000. This drastic increase reveals systemic profiling discrepancies and political strains. 72%: of ICE victims have no criminal convictions. A vast majority of victims are being unfairly profiled. Not causing any damage, though still viewed as a target. 91%: more facilities were occupied by ICE. This tremendous appreciation only indicates the growth of ICE forces. Serving as a threat to disadvantaged communities. There is no nobility in unjust profiling. The absurd trends pertaining to the current ICE crisis reveal the expansion of the primary issue. As a result, a series of fatalities have occurred putting lives at risk. It is paramount that we galvanize support and abolish ICE. Collectively we can make a difference.
